About

I have a diverse career background with experience in business, human resources, safety, and information technology. I started off in the travel industry and then moved into human resources and safety management. A few years ago I started to learn website design as a hobby. I got really into technology and decided to make a career change, so I went back to school to complete a MS degree in technology management. For the past few years I have worked as an IT project manager and business analyst. I am also a freelance website developer and writer. I really enjoy working with small businesses to implement affordable website, blog, SEO, and social media solutions that support business objectives.

Benefits of working with Lori on your small business website design, social media, or SEO project…

Reliable

I will provide a realistic timeline for your project. When we agree on a deadline, I will meet it. If something comes up that will impact the schedule, such as a change in scope, I’ll tell you right away. Then we can discuss the impact on the project and adjust the schedule to stay on track.

Supportive

My role is to help you develop and maintain a web presence that achieves your objectives. I believe in sharing knowledge to help you understand the technologies. If you just want to know the basics, I’ll provide a big-picture overview. If you want to learn the nitty-gritty, I’m happy to explain.

Proactive

I’ll keep my eye out for ways that I can add value to your business. For example, I won’t just copy and paste your content on a web page. I will read it and suggest possible enhancements and maybe even catch a typo that slipped by. I provide resources and helpful articles on my Blog.

Responsive

When you need me, I’ll be ready to assist. I respond to emails and voice mails quickly. I’m available evenings and weekends too. I will maintain ongoing communication about your project status to let you know as tasks are completed and remind you of any items on your to-do list.
